What we receive

When you create an account with email, we receive the name, mobile number and email address you provide. The mobile number is saved as an unverified contact detail, not used for sign-in, and no OTP is sent. If you choose Google sign-in, we receive the basic account details you authorize, such as your name, email address and profile photo; a mobile number is not required. We also receive the trip details you submit to build an itinerary, including destinations, dates, budget, interests and any notes you write.

02

How your trip is made

We use your trip details to generate an itinerary. Our server sends destinations, dates, budget, interests and trip notes to Google’s Gemini API. Your account name, email, mobile number and password are not added to the itinerary prompt. Google’s handling of prompts and responses depends on its API terms and the service tier; unpaid API use may be used to improve Google products. Avoid putting sensitive personal information in the free-text trip notes. Amazon Location checks attraction identities and their destination area. Tripixigo's server forwards account requests to Supabase, which handles authentication. Tripixigo does not store your password.

03

Where your itinerary lives

When you are signed in, your itineraries, saved stops and skipped stops are sent through Tripixigo's server and stored in Supabase under your account. A copy of your latest trip stays in this browser for recovery if account sync fails. Draft choices may stay in this browser tab during your visit. Your trips can follow your account to another device after they finish syncing. Deleting the latest itinerary in Profile removes it from your account and this browser; clearing browser storage alone does not delete account data.

04

Other sites you may open

Tripixigo can show destination photos from Unsplash and links to external maps. Opening those links or loading remote images may share your IP address and basic browser information with those providers. Their own privacy policies apply to their services.

Your choices

You can edit your display name in Profile, choose what trip details to provide, and delete saved itineraries there. If you sign in with Google, you can also remove Tripixigo's access from your Google Account. For account or privacy requests, contact vikasch2802@gmail.com.
